Everywhere else it had gone completely to weeds. The PO's had gotten quite elderly and weren't able to take care of the property any longer. One of them must have gardened at one point, though, because old plastic plant markers turn up when I'm digging in various beds! I like to think that the two sisters who owned the property would be happy to see all the flowers that now bloom throughout the year.
