Quoting:My local nursery's have a few brugs that they tag(yellow) (white) or (pink) big choice. they have no clue.

Believe it or not that was pretty much true of nurseries here in the Bay Area two years ago. I think they are getting the message that "yellow" or "pink" or "white" just isn't gonna do it anymore!

*******
crestedchik - Since the search here on DG still isn't up to par like it used to be, I tried without success to find anything to do with this Brug. :(

kikisdad - That Inspector would have been at the foliage in a minute if I hadn't stood right there.....he's one of those cats that would eat a house plant for breakfast, lunch & dinner and still want one for a late night snack! (Truly I think it was because the nursery where I purchased it has cats and they probably had "marked" the pot for future reference. Maybe that's why the foliage is so interesting!)

Sherry - That's "Homer" a throw-away kitten that my daughter the vet found 7 years ago. She already had too many cats and I'm a sucker so I took him. He's a feisty teenager, always in trouble! Right now he's a very dirty cat....playing in the fireplace again! He's got some apricot Siamese in him we think.

I am assuming that Monterey Bay Nursery must have had some blooms if they describe it as "salmon".....strange that they only have the foliage pictured on the website. The good news is that this plant has "Y'd" and does have buds on it.
