Didn't even know whether to believe the tag on it, but the foliage just yelled "TAKE ME TO YOUR GARDEN!!" Here's what I found on the net: ‘Miner’s Claim’ PPAF -- a wonderful new variegated form of ‘Frosty Pink’ found in our nursery. It has broad creamy yellow to ivory white margins and the same soft, relaxed habit as its parent. Flowers are salmon pink. This is a great foliage plant even if it never blooms. We have had endless comments about this plant from those who have seen it in our nursery. From Monterey Bay Nursery. CHIMERA: A plant with two genetically different tissues growing side by side. Chimeras may or may not be stable. In this case the chimera was very stable, and we propagated the plant and patented it. The new plant is called Brugmansia 'Miner's Claim' Had to bring it in to get a picture cause it's realllly windy today. |
