Good morning/afternoon, whatever you have at the moment. Good tea, good company, nice place to sit, pretty day, all good stuff.

On the bulb forum I posted a photo of an amaryllis that is in bloom in my greenhouse to see if anybody knew what it might be since it was supposed to be a bright pink but it is white and green with red edges on the petals, a pink streak on the petal going inward from the tip and double, yes, the first double one I have had. It's might be Andes, an African double that one supplier has for $15.95 before shipping. I got it at the discount store for about $5. The other one I bought at the same time has no sign of a bloom stalk yet so now I have to wait and wait to see if it is anything more exoctic that what is pictured on the box. Before I typed all that I should have just said I'll post it so you can see.

Ok Julie, tell me about those hypertufa containers? Do you have pictures of the process or the finished products?

I was reading something in the paper about old pantyhose. Somebody cuts one continuous strip starting at the ankle (just one layer) and cutting round and round all the way to the top of the thigh. The strips are then rolled up in a ball like we used to do with string and can be cut off to any length. Slick idea! Another person puts an onion, then a bread bag clip, another onion, another clip and hangs the whole thing up in her storage room. The onions have plenty of air so they don't spoil, and the thought of how this must look gives me the giggles. L-o-n-g legs with big cellulite!!!!

Well, on that happy note, I shall depart to see what I can accomplish outside.
