My experience is accordance with Monika's regarding it is important to let a lot of fresh air in the GH or growing facility. If the air humidity become too high the plants can not get rid of superflous water. This cause them to cast off leaves, flowerbuds, fruits and sometimes even smaller branches. There is often found a line of bursted plant cells along the abscission place. Here is an example. B. aurea was loaded with buds, when I moved it inside. I closed the door during the night and it dropped a lot of buds. However, when the door was left open during the nights to let fresh and dry air in, the B. aurea kept the rest of the buds to flowers.
