One has tiny blue green leaves and thorns on the stems, and the other has tiny blue green leaves and no thorns on the stems. The C. pulcherrima with thorns is definitely shorter. I have two of those, but this other one with no thorns is huge! I'll be sure to post pictures of it when it blooms. Both have beautiful flowers:
