This is one of my favorite pictures... my dad and my older brother, Lloyd. Dad always put in a big garden, and he always ran a stake on either end of a row, attaching a string between them to keep the rows straight... they never were. We used to tease him about it. My brother Lloyd was so young here. He was in the Air Force, on leave, I think. He couldn't have been much more than 18 years old. This picture was probably taken in the early 50's.
