Not being a bulb grower and living in Florida, I am faced with some problems (to me).I've always heard you let the foliage die down....this one hasn't even begun after 3-4 months after blooming. Should I cut it back? Next, it was terribly root bound and you "bulbers" told me to wait until after it bloomed. When I seperate them, how deep should I plant it? It also has flourishing foliage. And last, it was knocked over by one of the hurricanes and not flound for a bit so it is growing at an angle...please see photo. If I should keep the foliage should I stake it to try and straighten it out? Or just yell at? Sorry, couldn't resist.......I've loved the blooms and want to do the best for it and this is the place to find out how to do this! Thanks in advance! |
