I already can see the 30 red twig dogwoods I have ordered ringing the property line on my side of the house, separating us visually from the huge home (10,000 sq. ft.) next door scheduled to be a B&B (assuming they really have enough $$). That will also ring my shady garden area. I think they may get enough sun there. Not sure about the 30 river birch yet. At the minimum, I can grow them out at least a year in 1 gallon pots in the ground, and sell them if there's ultimately no place for them. Or, hold them for a more permanent place of my own... when I win the lottery.

I will have to be there a while and watch the sun and the trees to see if I can move any of my perennials that need sun.
