Jeff sent me photo of quilt, must be close to 100 years, wasn’t made to look pretty, was made to keep loved ones warm when maybe the wood stove would go out on a stormy night, have to chuckle, would certainly have kept me warm yesterday having no hydro.
I have a queen size cross stitched quilt mom did and hand quilted by Aunt Muriel but I worry if i set it on a bed Ziggy would be pulling at embroidery threads, sad it sitting 8n the closet.

Mom used to bring her cross stitch when we would go to Buffalo. Sharon has one mom just finished and will do it on long arm. I’ve enough 24” squares I really should quilt up throws for the grands but you know don’t think boys get the sentimental feeling of such gifts.i think of those wedding quilts I did for when they marry, likely be antiques by then lol
