We got the Christmas tree up! LOL We went out and found a 9 foot tree we both liked, it was flocked and we then shopped for the rest of the stuff we needed. We are going to replace the Santa on top with a star, maybe later today. I have NEVER used all 50 yards of a decorator ribbon on a tree.
Many years Marie barely got the tree up before Christmas. I have usually had mine up weekend of our Thanksgiving. I think for the first time in a long time I am excited about Christmas and not dreading it.
Marie and I decided to make Christmas stocking for 3 missionaries that are assigned to my ward. They have been so helpful and kind. Marie\'s grandson \"fell asleep\" and called when he was already late, so we canceled. The missionaries showed up unannounced and I had their help with some of the stuff I would have paid Brandon for. We started buying the stuff to fill them with. We\'ll also buy something special for her priest.
