Linda, we have another cloudy day here and our high will be 93. 93 degrees is heaven.

Cecil is getting better but threw up his breakfast this morning. He gets his stitches out Tuesday.

We are getting ready to have rain again. I can hear thunder and lightening but I think it is in the mountains close by.

Betty I meant to comment on your neighbors garden on your property. What a beautiful gesture and you get to see the flowers and such and not do the work. Maybe offer her more of the property. especially the drainage ditch.

I laugh when I think about the lot we chose to build our home on. If I had chose a golf course lot, I would be gardening the rustic looking side yards of the golf course and it would be covered with wild flowers. I told my sister after our trip to Oregon, later in the year, I was driving to Ventura and redo her back yard. That way she could sit out there and enjoy all of the landscape. I told her I would bring my tools, my checkbook and we could have fun.

First photo is a bouquet my grandson brought home after a big wedding he helped with. Second photo is flowers rearranged in a gravy mote from my dinnerware because the roses had deteriorated but the mums were still perfect. Friend, that was Vern\'s caregiver, comes by on Saturday to say hello and she did the rearranging.
