I have a peach tree that I am sure was grafted. The rootstock sent up a large sucker, and I know I should have cut it off, but didn\'t. It has small white fleshed peaches with bitter skin. My question is: should I now cut it and hope the grafted part will survive and do better? The grafted part of the tree is the one leaning off to the left in the photo, while the rootstock is the upright, larger part.
