I had posted: If you have seen any Scilla sibirica (squill) around that appear to be in a location where a developer's bulldozer will soon be appearing, I would like to know (the most recent dig I did was in Redmond from the yard of an old cottage being demolished in order that another desperately-needed glass-n-steel building could go up . . . snort!); I've "recycled" several outstanding growths in the last year or three and would like to find some more presently; clumps I've moved/replanted even in the past two months are surviving very well and have vigorously gone to bloom, so I'm not particular about the bulbs/corms being a "fall" item. BUT: A bit more investigation leads me to conclude that I didn't know what I was talking about -- that what I've dug up and replanted are, in fact, English bluebells! SO: Let's replace the "squill" business with "bluebells" and see what shows up. Again, many thanks for any assistance. Nels This message was edited Apr 29, 2019 7:19 PM |
