When I lived on the lake in port Severn we were hit 3 times, I remember watching from the balcony as it came past front of our yard lifting the lake in places, not a think wrong on the dock deck but took all our trees along shoreline.another time it did mega damage to the marina down the road.

Then in Barrie a few years earlier 12 lives were lost,over 300 injured and 300 homes lost.

Then a few years ago when Chrissy was here it hot Midland..actually did damage to mil/fil\'s house..Chrissy when passing to Martyr\'s Shrine explained a lot with regards to terrain and why it took that route, was interesting to hear,believe over 30 homes destroyed but no deaths

So yes, when alerts are issued we take it seriously

All seem to take place in June..
