It's weird because the insects seem to be dried out and don't appear to move at all when I touch them (which is why I thought maybe they aren't aphids even though they look like they are). I wonder if it's possible that they all died from being in a cold (unused) house during the winter. Regardless, I am afraid to bring this home and introduce them to my other plants- Wondering if there is a way to start a new plant with a clean branch from this one.
