Barb, hooe the mug rugs turn out ok..re homemade gifts at Christmas, when Roger and I were first married I\'d make homemade gifts for his siblings and their kids..always thanked me, but the year I had my kidney operation I wasn\'t well enough we bought gifts..we went Michael\'s and I could see that they were disappointed, looked at the kids and almost put them aside, when I asked what was wrong I was told that the highlight of our visit was to see what I had made, parents told the kids to go into their closet and get the box ut, here they had saved all I had made over the years that they might one day pass on, it was heartwarming, wasn\'t long after Christmas they had a second visit and homemade gifts were given. What made you decide not to do homemade, just too much! It is great to have these homemade articles on hand, know homemade is always treasured especially those for babies...been years since I\'ve made baby outfits, keep telling my knitting machines \'one day\'I will get back to them

Starting with my 5-5:30 am rising again but that is ok, like that routine, accomplish more. Girls come this morning, need to head downstairs and make sure all is in order.

I accomplished much yesterday, got the \'my Canada quilt sewn ready for quilting and put my sil\'s quilt she bought at a garage sale for $10 (all hand sewn) on the frame, she wants to give it to her granddaughter who is away at university at Christmas..don\'t like leaving everything to the last minute so hopefully by the weekend she can pick it up.

I said I\'d pick up Suzanne in midland and take her home this afternoon as she is leaving her vehicle at the garage for repair, told her I make a trip to midland Tuesdays anyway, my Kentucky fried chicken day lol
