SCarolinaGirl wrote: Hi all! I took a leap (after reading about Brugmansia\'s) and ordered Frosty Pink from Georgia Vines on ebay. It just arrived in the mail and I\'m excited about it. My plant is rooted in a 4 inch garden pot, has a \"Y\" already, and new growth on both branches at the top as well as a leaves starting to come out below the Y. It\'s about a foot tall already. Should I remove those below the Y? The instructions say I need to put pot in 1/4\" of water and not let it sit in the sun for about a week before planting. I\'m in zone 8b (SC) and need to decide whether to plant in the ground or in a large container. I decided on Frosty Pink as the seller is in Georgia and hers are in the ground. Also read these are a little more hardy and can overwinter better in my zone. Questions: What Type of Fertilizer should I feed it and when? I\'ve read they need heavy feeding and watering. Also, how fast do these grow in a season? Thanks! |
