Wikipedia declares that this is only to be found in the Americas, a few websites refer to it as one of the plants to be found in Thailand. The image of. B. nodosa to be found on Dave's Garden differs from my example in that mine does not have the red stipules on the flowering stem and that I have a central petal reaching right down over the lip.
