depending when it germinated. When I first moved here my neighbor told me he knew someone that grew it as it attracted hummingbirds. Naturally I had to ask if he could get me a few seeds. He did and have grown ever since, I even gave seeds to a friend in Tennessee and he grows it too. Sometimes I see it growing along the highways in MS, it's good too to grow in the back boarder. But also not attractive to everybody.
