Insect and Spider Identification: Indoor (possibly) flea; could be giving us bites! ID?, 1 by DDCP

Now, we have an average sized apartment, but my wife & I hardly get insect bites (an occasional flurry of spider bites every few months, etc.), so I'm still skeptical if our little dog brought in fleas. Still good to ask! This may be a one-off that I suppose just finds it's way in via walks with our dog.
