Joe took the old wagon and un- assembled it since the wheel base was rusted and falling off, then he drilled holes in it and saved the cart part, t is perfect to sink into a flower bed for a bog garden, my american bell flower and cardinalis will do well in it. You are doing great Ju. I also have planted more seeds and have baby milkweeds coming up in that triangle I told you I planted a lot of seeds in. I will take a picture of what is up now, tomorrow, after work. Work is just crazy right now, and very hot. Jen, I use sticky traps of fruit flys, have one taped on the backsplash where the tomatoes sit, and lots of them around in the basement where the turtles are, since they eat fruit too. I have a tall narrow water bottle filled with tomatoe guts from a Joe's Roma tomatoe I grew, and it is full of dead fruit flies, so maybe give them something to go into for your kitchen, they can be trapped and then die. They love anything fruit, so drop a piece of over ripe something into a bottle with a small opening, and add a tad of water ( I use an inch. ) Joe made this pie, it is ricoota pie and blueberries and lemon zest blended and put into a graham crust. Yummy! |
