With that latter, the ones I'm used to seeing in the supermarket are lighter green than these, which when green are of similar color to the jalapenos (deep green). I picked one earlier and it seemed to have little heat. These are also somewhat smaller than I tend to associate with Anaheims. Below is a shot of two I picked recently. They came out a bit lighter in the shot than in RL. Any way to ID the variety? I'm not sure how much it matters, but I'm curious. |
