This leaf is pointing away from the center of the plant. It is a good choice to keep this leaf, and cut off the flower by cutting the stem just above this leaf.

The new stem that will grow will grow outward, so it won't tangle up with other stems, and it will have a flower.

If you cut off an old flower to a leaf with only 3 leaflets it probably won't flower.
