Gitagal wrote: Thanks--both of you..... I just looked at both sites. Checked out many of the styles. Merrell--- "Jungle Mocs" and the ""Dassie Slide" seem OK-- BUT--these shoes do not look like they would be easy slide on or off. A bit too clunky as well-- Shoebuy-- I liked the Klogs "Naples" style. Their sizing help was nice--as they noted that these Klogs run a size larger than normal. I wear a size 310 shoe--so they suggested size 9W for me. Crazy colors! The "Jollys slip on Clog" @ $59.95 seemed the best price. A real gardening shoe.. Wide toe area (yeah!)etc... If you know any other good sites for shoes, please list them here... I already have a "Sloggers" shoe I bought for watering several years ago. My main concern is the comfort inside the shoe--as I have all these foot problems. All day running around HD--my feet hurt so bad I do not want to take another step. Buying on-line is iffy--as I do not get to try the shoes on. Aina has passed on about 3 pairs of shoes to me that she bought on line and did not like the way hey fit. I may have to go sleuthing....We have DSW here----a huge shoe store at the Mall here-- a bunch of sporting goods stores...etc. What type of a shoe store would carry these kind of shoes? Thanks all--Gita Here are my "Sloggers". I bought these on-line about 6 years ago. They are, totally, molded plastic. I have to switch shoes on and off when I water-- kind of annoying...But--I can walk through puddles with these and stay dry. I can only wear these with one pair of socks. My tennis shoes--I need 2 pair of socks. So--I have to switch socks AND shoes...I just deal with it... I suppose in the "Perfect Life"--I would have a pair of shoes that do both--and I could wear them all day. |
