Monstera has this (and peace lily,) but Philodendron (in the pic of the link I shared) does not. It's a sure way to differentiate the 2 genera. From the pics at the top of the discussion, I've circled what looks like a geniculum to me. Rose, since you have the plant to inspect in person, are you able to see it clearly? If not, it may be a Rhaphidophora tetrasperma (called mini Monstera for common.) |
