I have a white bid of paradise that was planted too close to my house and it needs to get pulled up and transplanted. My concern is when is the best time to transplant it without killing the plant. From what research I have done, most people suggest to transplant them in late winter, when they are not actively growing. Problem is winter is when it blooms here in Tampa, so I know the plant is not in a dormant state. It has an open bloom now.

Does anyone here have any experience in transplanting them and any advice for me?
