joeswife wrote: I am up again. *sigh* Thanks, Jackie, I am still waiting for three of these to bloom, these photos are pics from last year. They are a good example of the blooms, I think, of all the purps I am growing. I sprayed all the patio except for one spot on the arbor where my baby mantis is. And then the front gardens, and the porch gardens. I mixed some dog flea dip ( walmart, pyrthins 99%) with some thuracide ( will only kill worms) and some miticide along with a light dose of plant food and a drop of dawn dish soap with water. I make it by the pitcher and fill all these huge spray bottles. I enjoy it on a still night with a gentle breeze blowing opposite of me. Snipped some leaders off of the large purple with white and they are doing great in the fish filter down stairs. I root most my stuff in that fish filter. I am so glad July has said goodbye, it was a horrible tragic month. Morining glorys and sunflowers lift my spirit. the elderberry shrubs are heavy with a lot of fruit this year, I bet I only see a few, since the squirrels ate all but one pear this year. Gosh I just want to take the flashlight and go see how many buds I have to be open in the am. 1.Last lilly open..2. Monarda almost done 3. weird 4 o clock 4. Liatris 5. an unidentified bloom from the past three years.. |
