heavenscape wrote: Faye, it sure is nice talking to you!! As I had said, don't have to say much here and none is beholden to post daily. We do look forward to news from our sistahs since a monologue is quite boring.. especially from me!! Lolol!!! When you need some sweet interruptions from your daily chores, come on down! Am so glad that the prayer shawl lifted you and Ray. God makes use of us! We'll have that visit one day, and Lanakila is also not too far from you! Never been to any fairs since I moved here Lanakila. But had my fill when living in Louisiana. There it's held in the summer too and mercifully the mosquitoes didn't care for loud music! Thank you again for the birthday wishes. I had a fantastic day and Kel presented me with one free day of not having to feed nor groom the cats!!! Papa confused them when he started using the flea comb on them!! They were very well behaved yesterday. (maybe the weather being cool got something to do with it) Yes Carole, I'm a cat hoarder!! Muffin needs attention and Sis, LK is right.. give him old newspapers or better yet, store things away where he can't reach! I'm in the bestest group here who don't get into a hissy fit when weeds seem to be the main attraction in their gardens!!! Praise God!!! There was a Facebooker, who wanted to please his mother and weeded her garden. She was devastated and told him that the weeds in their carefree ways, put out beautiful blossoms. She said that he should appreciate the non-divas of the gardens. And as long as she lives only to please herself, she doesn't care what her neighbours think! My kind of woman! Some blooms to share with you. Rose of Sharon loves the rains! Love opening a door and see lovely blossoms greeting me. My bicolor and an old fashion pink one. Pinks are allowed only in my garden! Yellow brugs on the back porch. It's a potted noid. Survived the rains when I can't drain it. Tough fella. Hydrangeas for Marion.. Grapes playing Peek-a-boo. Never made any grape jelly. I let the neighbour's kids pick all the blueberries and grapes. Only the Japanese persimmons and figs will I keep for myself! That amaryllis bed that Kel had prepared for me... well he'll have to make another bed! Will be happy looking for more daylilies!! |
