Gita, yes our clerodendrums are perennials They will naturalize once established, but very slowly and are easily removed if they pop up where you don't want them. We have a nice row along the side of our porch.

Speedie, I guess purslane comes in ornamental too? I have just the weed in my mind. I like your bubblegum purslane
