Promise not to beat yourself up should her outcome take a turn for the worst, Manda. I did that myself when I lost Peanut, and he just died from old age. As far as plants, let's see.....Sago Palm has eight or ten new fronds now, the most ever. The Spearmint is living in the half whiskey barrel. Mountain Mint is happy in its in-ground pot. I definitely want more. And your Milkweed seedlings are doing well. Remind me of the name? I think you said they were tropical. I nursed the double yellow Begonia over Winter, evidently too much.

Neener, I never knew deer were attracted to Hydrangeas and probably shouldn't even ask about your Azaleas. For a small consolation and maybe a thought to tuck away after you move, in addition to fencing you've planned...hubs planted a huge deer plot at the bottom end of our field and...knock on wood...they only nipped on a couple of Daylily buds early on in May.

Lilies are among my favs this year. I've been slowly moving many of mine out of pots into the main bed when it hasn't been raining. Hello? It's rained around here for how long now? At least a month almost every day until this week, and now I don't even want to go outside to face the horribly humidity.
