PaladonPerry wrote: Hi all, we hope that everyone is keeping well, like all gardeners this time of the year we have been very busy! We are opening our garden next weekend for Water Aid. the right for the poorest nations of the world to have fresh clean drinking water. It is horrifying to se the condition of the water that some of these people have to drink filthy contaminated with waste and so many children and adults getting seriously ill and dying. So as you can imagine we have been having a very busy time preparing the garden for opening. Just adding a few photo's of the garden as it is right now. Taken this opportunity to write as it is poring with rain at the moment. The biggest worry is there is gales forecast for tonight and during the week grrrr, The 500 lilies are all in but just about ready to burst into flower. My daughter and I have also been potting up large fruit trees I think every kind of fruit you can think of. Ohhh and guess what, we have added ducklings to our menagerie LOL. Also thought you might like to see a video on YT of my daughter hand feeding the peacocks. I think it is strange how the weather has been changing over the past 5/6 years the seasons seem to be out of step, a bit of a worry for food production around the world. We heard on the news that it is going to 45c in places in America, horrifying I think I would melt. You all look after yourselves. Kindest regards from Peter and Mary-Anne.
