One of my mourning doves has the tail of a white-winged dove. I'm told it's called a variant.
We're getting some badly needed rain-this female brewer's blackbird seemed to be saying thank you.
Speaking of rain, the lesser goldfinches are loving the rain and the seeds in these weeds.

I've had 4 Anna's hummingbirds here for a month-3 spent the winter with me. This one sat close to me as I was photographing the birds on our deck.
