Vern and I are still fighting a cold. We had the flu shot and my daughter thinks it is a mild case of the flu. She usually brig over dinner every Sunday and this is the 3rd Sunday without her dinner. Got this bug just before Sunday, 3 Sundays ago. I have been keeping a close eye on both of us. But this cold has kept me sitting on the couch and getting a lot of mundane items off my to do list.

We are again in the 60s and a beautiful day. Saw a hummer this morning on my stroll through the front landscape and a butterfly. Also have an Amaryllis starting to bloom. Everything is really confused. My Oxalis are blooming everywhere.

Betty, so sorry to hear about your uncle. This time of year is hard on our old bodies. Too many individuals in the hospital because of the flu. Here they had a public service announcement regarding the ER. Said they were packed and not to go there.

Well it is time to take the dogs for the second walk of the day. I try to do that before the sun goes down. Hugs to you all.
