joeswife wrote: me too, Ju.. my passion vines downstairs are making a nice canopy for me, I just put up another leader ribbon for them to follow, we never got the huge snowqueen hibiscus up, she is about as big as a small cherry tree now, and I have made several cuttings of her already.. only one part of the basement is filled with plants right now, they look so happy down there I am just leaving them. Joe's potatoes are getting rust spots on the leaves from too much rain.. *sigh* That iris came from my Great Aunt Effie.. sometimes they bloom, sometimes they don't.. I had a blue one somewhere, but I lost it. :P this was blooming this am on the arch by the back door..passion vine ends I rooted and brought out in spring are on the far arch.. they are finally starting to climb.I mixed a pot of gladiolas with sunflowers.. I think it might work. Joe is real proud of his garden stones.. they still need a little leveling.. |
