Just when I was wondering if this plant was worthwhile, this Night Blooming Cerius just has me hooked. Most of the year it just sits here, not very special but an interesting shape. Then in a weeks time buds appear, it blooms for one night, and then has the most interesting fading bloom. Pic # 1 is the bloom, Pic 2 is the bloom closing, and pic three is the fading bloom. Pic #4 is a closeup of the fading bloom. Unfortunately this year I totally missed the blooms. Wasn't blooming at 10:30 p.m. when I went to bed, was closing up at 6:30 a,m, when I went out to the patio. Pic #1 is from 2013. Does anyone else enjoy this weird plant?
