Because it was not an area that needed cleaning--they sat like that for a long time. They NEVER straightened up! 4------The 4 evergreens I had in the back also never straightened up from the load of snow. They were cut down the next year--and that bed became my raised bed in the back. 5--BUT--the Wintersweet bloomed anyway! Gita |
