Bezziec - We make our own compost and add peat moss to it for extra acidity. But our soil is very alkaline so anything acidic all the plants love. I also add Epsom salts and coffee grounds to the mix. I mix all this up together in a huge mixing bowl then give handfuls of it to all the potted plants. We do re-pot our Cereus when we put him in the greenhouse....just not a big bump up in size pot. We move him in when the night temps start to head towards 50s.

rouxcrew - I love your red Esperanza. Where ever did you get it? I have yellow and the tangerine one, but have never seen the red. I love it.
