We have all red clay so my beds are raised and that is why I have to handle so much soil and mulch. In late April I enlarged two large beds in the back yard and this Fall will enlarge the bed that is the length of the fence. Have to, I have to divide Iris and Daylilies.
Expanded this same area in 2011.
Gosh! looking at the beginning of the 2011 project, I have to go outside and turn the soil bags out the other way, this will give me more extension space. I'm using the bagged soil to kill the grass. These are just the beginning bags, there will be twice more plus mulch after plants are in.
