That picture I postedabove is from 2006. I took pictures from these this spring--but did not note exactly where they were
(I keep a notebook--by dates) and did not feel like hunting for them.

Last year--I had dug up several areas of bulbs and sorted them out. Took a bunch Daff bulbs to the fall swap.
The Wood Hyacinth bulbs are round, white little balls. Easy to ID. Replanted them in any open spot i could find.
So--this spring--they came up in great form. Already--seem too many...

I will be digging up a couple clumps of Daffs. Too crowded--NO blooms....need the spot for other things...
One of them is a pretty Daff---blooms later and their leaves take FOREVER to die off...(see pic)
I have more of these around my KK Hibiscus bed...Will let those be for now--but digging those up (eventually)
will be tricky--as the KK's roots radiate away from the plant--like spokes on a bike wheel
.
This is what happens when I get desperate and just plant things anywhere i can find--with NO plan in mind.
Later--they are too much in the way of something else. I deal with this issue every year--everywhere...

Right now--I need to find a spot for the poor "Jack Frost" Brunnera I p/u at Lowes on clearance.
Decided on a spot--right in front of my Carpet Rose, to thee left--where on the right, is already Donner's Brunnera.
This will be a good spot! Early AM sun and then shade. BUT--will have to dig up a lg. clump of Stellas to do this.
A pattern seems to be forming here......right? ;o/

And--so goes my gardening when I get something new......I can only dig up so many things...
That is why my "wants" list is always so short....I REALLY have NO place to put anything!!!

This year--I had to work in the new DL and the Caladiums. A Spiderwort Susan brought me at work--(done!)
The "mystery? shrub (Mockorange), which found a home in the very corner of my "YUK" bed where i dug up
the old, split-stem, dead Butterfly Bush. (done!)

Etc...etc....Story of my life in my garden......G.

--OK--Here's the pretty daffs...Paul already asked for some of these.

--Same daffs in the KK Hibiscus bed

--Here's the Carpet Rose--that clump of Stellas will be dug up--and the "Jack Frost will be planted on the left.
Behind all this mess--you can also see the tall. red Hibiscus starting to grow. A LOT packed into this little corner bed..

--This is the corner of the "YUK" bed--where the Mockorange (out of sight) now lives. Right by the green fencing.
That is also where I had planted the Purple Loosestrife--and then pulled it up. Put a Purple Datura in its place...
Also--just planted the Spiderwort right behind the annuals in the front. (2 Lantanas) It will get some shade there...
