According to our Christmas Bird Count totals, we counted 8170 Ruddy Ducks on our lake. That's good news since several years ago we were busy picking up over 10,000 dead ruddys due to avian disease.

Resin identified the next two as barnyard geese, I think they are so beautiful.

Look closely at the last photo-I was taking photos of the gull and when I turned the lens toward the coot, the gull came over and bit the coot! Think it was jealousy?
