That new puppy, Lizzy, oh how cute, I remember those puppy days, potty training & chewing. I have a playpen I use for that, I think it has 8-10 sections, you open it up & it makes a 5 ft area for the puppy to play. I have a piece of linoleum flooring that I keep under it while training. I also encourage my puppy to use either a potty pad or to go outdoors to potty. It’s always worked for me, but each puppy is different. The key thing to do is take it out often & before you think it needs to go.

Those hibiscus flowers are beautiful. I’ve noticed that some of my white & my red hibiscus flowers have hybridized & now I have some light pink ones. It’s amazing what plants can do. Taking care of children or almost anyone will make a person grow up real fast, most people don’t know what it means to take care of children until they actually have them. Karen, sounds like you definitely had your hands full at a very early age. I don’t think I knew anything about children & making a living on my own until I was around 26 years old. I was somewhat disappointed when college was over, I had too much fun & didn’t want it to end. If I hadn’t fallen in love, I may have stayed in school longer. Love changes a person.

Susan, those memory quilts, that is such a kind sweet beautiful thing to do. You are truly a very special, thoughtful, & talented person.

Pat, sounds like your cat is always close by, must love you.

Betty, that’s a pretty quilt the young lady is holding, really like how all those small square pieces look in the middle, looks like she spent time choosing the best color matches, love it. Oh, what gorgeous pink blooms on your angel trumpet, I’ve thought about ordering a pink double blooming one, has any seen one up close?

Deb / momcat, those puppies are way too cute, carrying their little stuffed toys.

I know we shouldn’t discuss politics, and I deleted a paragraph I had written about it, but can I just say I’m so sick of politics! Ok, now that I said that, I attached some pics of my flowers from this year. My yellow lilies were so tall, about 8ft high, ignore that ugly man with them, it was just to show how tall they were. I love me hydrangeas , have white , blue, pink, would love to have the old fashioned one that has one stem with just one bloom, my mom had that one, miss it. Picture of my bloodroot, it has the odd shape leaves, blooms white in early spring before anything else. Pic of my Hardy begonias, you probably grow those in Canada, they can withstand the freezing temperatures. Hope you enjoy them.

My prayers & thoughts go out to all of you, whether it’s you, your family, your friends, anyone that’s dealing with difficult times or situations. Life is not always easy & I just want you to know, I read all your postings, say prayers for you, & even though I don’t know you that well, I’m here if ever I could help in any way, just ask or even click on my name & message me.
