Wet-legged jeans now drying... ;-) 1) Phox 'Triple Play' open at last. I got it late last season--one of those straggly-looking October discounts. ;-) It looks pretty good now, but I wonder if it needs more sun or something? Does it usually bloom this time of year? 2) A blossom on my nasturtium--yay! I'm hoping this gets big enough soon to share with you soon, SSG, since I know it's on your wishlist! 3) Can't believe Buddleja 'Miss Molly' is beginning to bloom! For a plant that's supposedly invasive, this has been very tame in my backyard. Maybe it's the cultivar? 4) My coreopsis 'Solanna Golden Ball' is peeking out its first few blossoms. I loved this plant last year--tons of huge yellow blossoms. Then it got ill and I cut it back to practically nothing. Glad it's back! 5) My honeysuckle 'Scentsation' (Lonicera periclymenum) blooming at last!! It had a rough start last year when I placed it unwisely--glad to see it likes its new spot! :-) |
