I hated the old cabinets not the really old build ins but the newer cabinets, they were just this uninteresting brown. I would have ripped them all out and replaced them. Not Josh, he sanded them. Leaving the old finish in the insets, who knew all that beautiful wood was under that dark finish. He covered the outside wall of the center unit with tongue and groove. That boot box/bench he built last year. He is planing on doing something with the counter top and a new floor but they may be awhile in coming. Before and after pics.
