Brrr!!! Its chilly here. Hopefully butterflies are south of west central Arkansas. But to my surprise a couple of deep south invaders showed up on the zinnias yesterday. A Mexican Yellow was nectaring red zinnias and basking on oak leaves in the back yard. Sulphurs sure seem to love red and pink flowers.
Also, a lovely Gulf Frit liked the zinnias too. Maybe I should remove the flowers and encourage them to head south.
