I usually give up after a couple weeks, but last year instead of just dumping them I just piled them out of my way and then in the fall dumped all the containers. Maybe I won't do that anymore. Although, I have WAAAAY too many passies now, so unless it's something super spectacular, I think I'm done buying.

How does everyone trellis their plants to take up less room? Last year I thought I had a great Idea. I took wire fencing with about 2 inch square holes, cut it to fit the circumference of my pots and attached the ends together. Made like a tube, thinking that they would climb and go around an fill the fencing. Nope, they went straight up and hung over. Now I'm think of getting those wire stands that they use for the plastic corrigated yard signs and just keep wrapping the vines around.
what do you think??
