xagrimonyx wrote: OK, so first the back story... I have a groundhog problem. He/she (they!) destroyed my cucumbers, squash, watermelon, and more... So, it being July and me not willing to give up on having a harvest yet, I rushed to the local nursery to buy new plants and set them in pots in the fenced in backyard. What I found at the nursery was a lot of very sad looking plants, but I figured I could revive them with some love and water. Now I'm not so sure... The cucumbers have little cukes on them, but they seem dried up? The squash plants are yellow and a very light green. The tomato plant just looks sad... yellowing, no new growth anywhere... Anyway, am I fighting a lost battle here? Thoughts on how to help these poor plants? I've also included a picture of what that groundhogs left me... |
