Here are a couple of pics showing that Carex 'Silver Sceptre'. It makes a great edger, but I must forewarn everyone that it's not very well behaved. You have to keep up on removing the runners every year. Don't wait for 2 years like I did, as then its a real b**** of a job. The ones my pictures are'nt looking so hot right now. They tend to look like this in the spring. They look much less ragged in the summer after it's had a chance to fill out with new growth.
