The cost of seed keeps going up so with the addition of 3 people to our household and only one income...which is less than last year with the payroll tax hike!!......I will use up the seed I have and then will have to stop feeding the birds. I do hope I can keep putting out suet at least for awhile, but will have to see how things go. I will start buying jelly now and stocking up for orioles so we can enjoy them thru the summer.

The Pileated Woodpeckers have not been coming to the suet until just the last couple of weeks...and so far have just seen this small one.
