Mine bloom on stems at least 14"-16" long. Maybe you get better light--or maybe it is because you kept

By mow--all but one has bloomed. Two are in the buds-emerging state right now. Two are totally done,
and the bloom stem has been removed (to not sap the plants energy). It is so recommended.....

I find it amazing how the clusters of pearl-white buds can even emerge from that tight base. I could not
stick a toothpick in it--if I tried!

Here are some pictures of how they blooms start out.....
And--my bigger plant (at least 4 stems) blooming royally by now.
